Pete Emminger is the global chief technology officer for NEP Group and is responsible for leading the global technology group, overseeing overall technology strategy, technical design, and build of their products and network operations. The group is also responsible for R&D and prototyping, supporting NEP’s ongoing commitment to innovation. Prior to his role as global CTO, Emminger joined NEP in May 2021 as SVP of product management for live production, where he focused on identifying and building strategic product plans for live production.
Emminger believes that empowering teams is the best way to encourage idea generation and to bring a high energy approach to project execution. Prior to NEP, he was at Blizzard Entertainment, where he built and led the Global Broadcast group, developing key internal capabilities at Blizzard in support of BlizzCon, Overwatch League, and Call of Duty League. Prior to Blizzard, Emminger owned a production company for 13 years where he had a key role in a wide array of live production projects.
Emminger holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
