ABOUT THE SVG SUMMIT

The true heart and soul of every SVG Summit are the people who attend. The virtual world has its place and applications. But there’s nothing like in-person to drive conversations, innovation, and business.

For those of us in live television production, the SVG Summit remains our industry’s preeminent event of the year. If you live and breathe sports on TV, the SVG Summit is more than just a conference and tech showcase — it’s a family reunion. And for some of us this year, it’s been a long time coming.

Of course, like all of you, SVG has learned from and evolved through the pandemic. As such, this year’s conference tracks and exhibits will again be concentrated on the second floor of the New York Hilton Midtown on Monday, December 12, while we move to the upstairs ballroom as a single body on Tuesday, December 13. The SVG Summit will again celebrate excellence as a community, topped off by the induction of the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame Class of 2022.

Expect a few new show enhancements this year, designed to further enrich your SVG Summit experience. But remember that this year’s show, as always, is ultimately about the fans and the viewers. Every year, what we openly share on stage and in the halls of the Hilton transforms the way leagues, teams, and broadcasters connect with their audiences.
