A native of New Jersey, Diane Booher launched Drone Zone New Jersey six years ago to fill a need for a drone facility that meets a wide range of pilots. The family-owned business offers a 10,000 sq. foot multi-level LED drone track with gates to rip, twist, and turn through that will challenge the beginner/novice to the expert drone pilot. In addition to offering racing training and repairs, Drone Zone NJ sponsors and manages two competitive Drone Race Teams, Team Drone Zone NJ and their newest all-female team, MACH 1.
Recently, Drone Zone NJ launched a Drones in School program with classroom educators and administrators who see value in developing engagement opportunities in STEM that involve hands-on learning for students. Booher says, “It has always been my dream to inspire more female drone pilots and spectators from across the globe by hosting challenging and unique drone racing and training opportunities, while continuing to support drone education.”
