As the Head of Broadcast Operations & Engineering for the NBA, Dave Barry leads the NBA’s acquisition and distribution of live games and events to domestic, international, and digital partners, including the NBA’s owned and operated properties. He oversees the technical aspects of the NBA’s broadcast standards and works with the league’s broadcast partners to facilitate the productions of NBA games.
Barry’s outstanding Broadcast Operations & Engineering team is responsible for the system design, build, management, and support of the NBA’s live video infrastructure including the High-Speed Arena Network (HSAN) and the NBA Replay Center. His team also produces the World Feed for NBA tentpole events such as the NBA All Star Game, NBA Finals, and the NBA Global Games.
Prior to his current role, Barry has worked in various Engineering, Operations, and Production positions at the NBA since 1999.
Barry received a B.A. in communications from The Catholic University of America and currently resides in Ridgewood, NJ.
