Carlos Watanabe, director of PayTV and streaming at Dolby Laboratories, is responsible for the business strategy in the segment. He also leads Dolby’s live sports global initiative.

Watanabe has more than 20 years of experience in the media, technology, and management consulting industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from State University of Campinas in Brazil, and an M.B.A. from The University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
