Brian Gordon joined the National Women’s Soccer League as SVP of media and executive producer in October 2020 and is responsible for broadcast and media production of 176 NWSL matches.
Prior to the NWSL, Gordon was named the senior vice president and managing director of marketing and media for the United States Olympic Committee in 2015. He led Team USA and USOC fan and brand engagement programs through broadcast, digital, and social media creative executions. Under his leadership and using state-of-the-art data and analytics reporting tools, the TeamUSA.org website and social media network experienced record growth in traffic, social engagement, and video consumption.
Gordon was the director of production at One World Sports in 2014, and a member of NBC Sports production team at the Olympic Winter Games Sochi 2014, horse racing’s Triple Crown, and won his second sports Emmy for Super Bowl XLIX.
From 2010-2014, Gordon was vice president of marketing branded content and distribution for PVH Corp., where he co-created the award-winning “Van Heusen Institute of Style” campaign starring Steve Young and Jerry Rice as well as “IZOD’s Race to the Party” campaign starring Mark Wahlberg, Mario Andretti, and Danica Patrick.
Prior to joining PVH, Gordon was the vice president and executive producer of Indianapolis Motor Speedway Productions. He started his career at ABC Sports, earning a national Sports Emmy for his work on Monday Night Football.
Gordon holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Texas Tech University and is a member of the Texas Tech School of Communications Hall of Fame. He lives in New York City with his family.
